Background

Logan's passion for architecture and design has been fueled from a young age. Having parents and family involved in different facets of engineering and design, Logan had several influences from a young age that allowed him to experience the design process early in life. Since his early childhood, Logan had been exposed to design processes from the perspective of an automotive engineer from his father, an interior designer from his mother and a master wood craftsman from his grandfather.
While being surrounded by different types of design helped to drive a creative influence, Logan's passion for architecture came from his outside influences of snowboarding and skateboarding. Since discovering snowboarding at age seven and skateboarding at age fourteen, both have become a strong influence in ideas such as aesthetic and graphic design, as well as how people begin to use space. As a skateboarder and a snowboarder, Logan has constantly finding ways to understand and see different ways to visualize spaces and how people use them. As Logan got older, he began to realize that his passion in life was to study the built environment and how design can influence how people view space.
Since coming to this realization, Logan has become an effective architectural designer, using the idea of how people contribute to the function of the built environment and how to effectively design around how people use space in order to establish a sense of place or destination with each design.
